Sorry, I meant using it as a stand-alone appliance from the control panel. Much faster than having a computer involved. Our 3220 can't do this, but our 3480 can do everything from the LCD panel - and it has great error/jam recovery for the situation you describe. One of our users clips the local daily newspapers and then stitches the clips together into a massive PDF every day on the 3480 using nothing but the local controls.
