Not really. I'd like to have native clients instead of web-based. I know that Zimbra Desktop supports Google accounts ( including the calendar ) but the interface seems kludgy.

Given any thought to Google Apps? I know we're on an anti-SaaS kick right now, but it might be a better alternative to Exchange. I know its cheaper.

I noticed that Cisco bought Postpath but don't really see any info on it now to see its features.

How do large mailboxes act in Exchange? I mean are there slowdowns if they get so many messages or to a large mailbox size?

I am looking at groupware servers and need opinions on what is out there and working for others. Aside from GroupWise (which doesn't have good OSX and Linux client support) does any groupware product out there support:
. large mailbox sizes - I'm talking 25 GB per user and 100,000+ messages without choking
. shared calendars
. shared address books
. internal status tracking - read, deleted
. phone support - email, calendar, contacts
. multi-OS support - Windows, OSX and Linux (hopefully)
