All you need is about $40 and patience thats what my 2 2.2's cost.   Now 
I know you want 2.4s but you aint got them and 4400 beats 0000 all the 

My 604 has 603 2.2 xeons in it.  If I popped my procs out and popped 
them in your MB they'd turn and burn.    

No magic about 604 in and of itself at the cheapee 400mhx fsb level.  
533 and 800fsb is a different story and the MBs can be gotten cheap 

Here are the ebay deals I see.

*Now is not a good time for xeon buying.  Too many bidders and too few 

Still $35 for 3800 looks tempting and better than wishing.
